John Lenox began working with Art Glass since the early 1980’s. Originally from Minneapolis, John established his studio in San Francisco in 1991, and produces custom stained, etched, beveled, leaded, and painted glass, as well as restoring period art glass, for restaurants, churches, and homes.
After years working with John Lenox, Spencer Chopp has taken over the business continuing the fine work of creating and restoring stained glass work in San Francisco. In 2024 Spencer became a member of Artistic License in his own right with his original work as well as his expertise in preserving period art glass.
