Rick has focused his entire career as an Interior Architect, Designer and Craftsman on developing timeless, well resolved spaces for his clients.
In 2012 Rick opened Rick Irving Design in Berkeley, California. Since then he has focused his efforts on special projects including interior design, product design and architectural consulting. With every new design opportunity Rick brings a focused sense of invention, quality and craftsmanship to the design and the building of spaces, objects and total environments for his clients.
Before opening his own design practice, Rick served for over two decades as the Director of Interior Architecture for Richard Meier and Partners in Los Angeles. While there, Rick led the Interiors effort for all projects in the Los Angeles office, including the Getty Center, CUT/sidebar Restaurant by Wolfgang Puck and several world class institutional and residential projects.
